Arbor Ridge Vine & Grill of Crestwood fights the high cost of Wine Dinners by continuing its series of wine tasting seminars on Tuesday, March 31st. The series runs with an event every 2 weeks ending on April 28th and features a speaker covering 3 ounce tastings of each wine and light hor d’ouveres at a cost of $20 per person; limit of 30 attendees per evening. RSVP required. Start time is 8:00pm.
On March 31st, Mr. Jim Downey, On-Premise Wine Manager for Southern Wine and Spirits will discuss the differences in wine making techniques comparing 3 Rieslings and regional differences in a varietal by comparing 3 Pinot Noirs. The wines will be:
o Schloss Vollrads QBA Riesling
o Schloss Vollrads Kabinett Riesling
o Schloss Vollrads Spatlese Riesling
o Matua Pinot Noir
o Erath Pinot Noir
o Hob Nob Pinot Noir
April 14th will have Ms. Maggie Peak, Director of Public Relations for Little Black Dress Wines here to provide an overview of their acclaimed 4 wine portfolio:
o Pinot Grigio
o Chardonnay
o Pinot Noir
o Merlot
Our last tasting in the Series is April 28th and Mr. Gerry Lynch, Regional Manager
of Napa Ridge Winery, will discuss their:
o Sauvignon Blanc
o Chardonnay
o Merlot
o Cabernet Sauvignon
o Reserve Merlot
